Gladiator sandals – we already saw them last year, but they are still in fashion this summer.
The days get warmer and finally we can start to put our summer clothes on which wait at home – ready to wear! It’s time to put your shoes aside and jump into your sandals to spoil your feet with fresh air. That’s why I wear my beautiful gladiator sandals from Valentino. When I saw them at first sight, I totally fell in love with them. At my first thought – I was thinking how long will it take to put them on? But at the backside you have a zipper which makes it very easy.
The brown color of my gladiator sandals matches perfectly with my classic, brown Saint Laurent hippy bag, which I bought a year ago. The Saint Laurent bag is still available and is the perfect accessory for my sandals. Not just because of the color, the style makes the perfect match.
The length of my Valentino shoestring seams to me just perfect, not too short, not too long. If the lengths of strings in general are too high, it makes the legs look like very short (unless you are 180).
As you can see, I wear them with a distressed denim shorts from Zara with my Isabel Marant Étoile blouse. My beloved, old floppy hat from H&M, reminds me of the good old hippy days. The only piece which is not in line with my hippy look, are my sunglasses from Monokel Eyewear.
I hope you are inpired by my lock and I’m curious about your individual gladiator sandals combination.
