Tweed jackets are legendary. 1924 Coco Chanel started with this now well known and very
comfortable fabric. There is nothing quite as iconic as a classic Chanel tweed piece. If you’ve had the chance of wearing once a Chanel jacket you know its soft texture, its weight, and its very aura are the things magic is made of.
Today, tweed remains a strong part of the Chanel story and is made in the House of Lesage out of Paris. Since Karl Lagerfeld has been at the helm of the fashion house, he’s continued to reimagine the traditional fabric, and we believe Mademoiselle Chanel wouldn’t have wanted it any other way.
Tweed is still very fashionable today, some designers made tweed pieces for a good price like the one from Zara I’m wearing on my pictures. But I also love the two different Isabel Marant Étoile tweed jackets this season which are a good investment since they are classic pieces and easy to wear with everything.
The first Isabel Marant Étoile blazer with a double breasted front and sharp-silhouette is crafted from a black-toned cotton-blend, and the fabric of the design has an strong boho edge. The other Isabel Marant Étoile jacket has more the touch of the classic bouclé jacket but with a modern design. This jacket is crafted in black with an ecru trim and the perfect styling essential.
