Californication! Let’s channel the ‘70s spirit of the season to perfection! By way of floral A – line maxi skirts with matching tops, I live the California dream right now. In Los Angeles the cool hippie chic rules– every day. The more easy the more chic. A styling rule that dominates the fresh fashion scene around the beach and in the city of L A. Its healthy and relaxed lifestyle inspired me to this sophisticated gypsy look from La Martina.
Argentina’s famous Polo brand impresses with an amazing women’s collection which combines sporty pieces with an elegant touch. I completely fell in love with that rust – colored silk skirt with green and yellow flower prints and the matching silk blouse from La Martina on top. If you wear it all together it looks like a long dress – ideally with a belt, so you can’t even see the crossover. I combined it with my vintage black and gold Hermès belt and some accessories to stage it more bohemian style. My favorite kind of shoes for this outfit are all kind of flats – as simple as the whole look.
And the best thing is: you can wear it all year round. The silk material provides comfort both, in winter and summer. It feels fresh and cool during summer and warms you up in winter. Just try some ankle boots or even cowboy boots and stockings instead of sandals… to walk around easily. On top you can combine it with a leather jacket. This time I wear my favorite gladiator sandals from Valentino which also has this bohemian touch and are very comfortable to walk around.
What about you? Are you into maxi skirts and dresses as well? Let me know.
