Velvet is the hot fabric of this season in the fashion world. During the Paris Fashion Week I wore blue velvet in a colorful combination with wet-look. I got the collarless and blue-white striped blouse as well as the red wet-look mini skirt from Zara. The shirt is slightly oversized and designed to tuck into jeans or as in my case into skirt. The wet-look piece is zipped in the front with a highlighted silver zipper. The red color is very intense and shiny –It is super posh and can be styled trendy, casually, or even elegant. For the PFW I preferred a trendy outfit and combined it therefor with my cool blue velvet boots by Phillip Lim.

The blue velvet boots are very stylish and unique – and of course they are heeled. I suggest wearing them with a mini skirt or dress, because they perfectly give the impression of a longer leg like that. But due to the bright blue color they look great with jeans as well.

For the cold Parisian autumn days my midnight blue Steffen Schraut coat is the right choice and it is made out of velvet as well! It is knee-length and very chic for draping over the shoulders. I think that everyone needs a dark blue coat, as it is great for every occasion! Both velvet pieces look really great together. The Phillip Lim boots are great for an outstanding velvet detailing and the dark coat is perfect for everyday!

The multicolored Chanel bag is a classic and vintage piece, which perfectly matches the colors of the skirt and the boots. It is very eye-catching and one of my favorite bags. And my black Dior sunglasses go really well with the blue coat, don’t you think?

My blue velvet outfit is super trendy and cool. I can see myself wearing those pieces on a daily basis. What about you?
