During my trip to Miami I stayed at the wonderful Mandarin Oriental Hotel, located in Downtown Miami. This was my first visit to the district and it was really exciting to discover this part of Miami.

The luxury hotel is located in the perfect spot. It enjoys a stunning view over Miami’s beautiful skyline from the hotel’s private beach. The architecture of the hotel is modern and everything is styled in perfection.

After my business meetings or strolls through the city I really enjoyed the hotel’s wellness & spa area, a modern and very well equipped place with a great menu of different treatments. After relaxing a little I enjoyed the great food in one of their restaurants, offering different cuisine from Peruvian to American or Asian. If you are visiting the Mandarin Oriental Hotel you can expect a full service and excellent treatment – no wishes will be left unheard. The hotel is unique and special and on top it is located right by the beach – it couldn’t get any better.

Downtown Miami is a perfect place for a nice walk in the sun on the riverside. The city is full of interesting museums, shops and little restaurants. It is very different from the parts of Miami I visited before and absolutely worth of paying a visit. And if you are looking for a less touristic area in Miami, Downtown is the right choice. I love exploring different areas, little streets and all fine little details while travelling – and here for sure there is plenty to explore. I spent hours just walking around and letting the city guide me.

The outfit I chose for this tour in flashy colors goes perfectly with the Downtown Miami flair. The plaid skirt, the body and the trench coat are all designs by Patrizia Pepe. The colors are light with shiny and glittery details – but decent at the same time and perfect for sunny days! My sunglasses by Les Specs with reflective glasses match the style. This look is “Miami” for me. It is cheerful, modern, unique and eye-catching – just like the city.

I really enjoy travelling to the US and Miami is definitely one of my favorite destinations. I highly recommend staying in Downtown Miami when you decide to visit the city and for an unforgettable hotel experience stay in the beautiful and luxurious Mandarin Oriental Hotel.
