No matter where I travel or what the whether is like, I always love to brighten up my day with sunny colors – as you can see me here wearing my yellow sunshine dress by Marc Cain. Paris is a place to be, especially during fashion week. And no matter which season you choose to visit this amazing city, there is always something magical about this place.
I am here for the Paris Fashion Week with my sister, checking out the latest styles and letting this glamorous place carry us away. Most of the times it was raining and the sun only peaked out once in a while. But that doesn’t keep me from brightening up the day with my colorful look.
This loose cut dress with flounce-like tiers is made from cotton and swings beautifully around my legs. There is a skirt in the same color under the dress, which gives the look a charming petticoat effect. The knee length calls for warmer days when it gets time to show off your legs again.
For a feminine waistline I am styling the look with a black waist belt from Azzedine Alaïa. Waist belts are a must for every lady in this season and they give a perfect finish to wide blouses and dresses. Or you can style them with a blazer, just try out which of your outfits it would compliment.
My shoes are also welcoming the spring. The ‘Chiara’ Butterfly style sandals from Sophia Webster with a printed butterfly wing and finished with a silver mirror front strap are calling for warmer days.
I just adore the French way of life, people sitting outside the cafés, enjoying a drink and their company. The cafés are the best places to sit and watch the latest fashion trends of the elegant French ladies and of the great amount of visitors of Paris fashion week. Sometimes I like to hide behind my cat eye sunglasses with pearl details from Chanel and just enjoy the scenery.
