Roger Vivier is a wonderful designer from Paris who doesn’t just design shoes – he creates real art pieces. He opened his first boutique in the fashion capitol in the 1930’s in the Rue Royale. Roger Vivier is famous for his heel Aiguille, which he presented in the early sixties to the fashion world for the first time. It is a curved Virgule heel that has since then become the icon of the label. The talented shoemaker is known for his feminine elegance and for designing shoes that look like real sculptures. He also uses his talent to create wonderful handbags and in these you can also see Roger Viviers special Savoir-faire.
The beautiful model I am carrying is called the Viv bag that is crafted from linen with lace flower detailing and features. It has a slightly curved metal buckle and you can carry it around your shoulder or swing it loosely in your hand. I styled this bag with a white lace Zouzé dress matching the pattern of the handbag. White lace dresses are a perfect summer outfit and they look cute and sexy at the same time. Around my waist I am wearing a beige waist belt made of leather from Azzedine Alaïa. Waist belts cannot miss in your summer wardrobe this year – they are trending and look great. You can style them with dresses, blouses or t-shirts and they make your waist look amazing.
The white sandals are from Azzedine Alaïa as well and they compliment my white summer style so nicely. In order to bring some sparkling tones to my look I chose my IWC Da Vincie Automatic 36 watch made in 18-carat red gold with diamonds. The stones shimmer in the sunlight and are a great contrast to the lace fabric on me. My jewelry is from Art Youth Society and the cute details on the rings are all about LA and summer. Last but not least I am wearing Chanel sunglasses with pearls.
I had a great day with Roger Vivier on the Rodeo Drive and his special handbag was an eye-catcher – check out his other styles and see for yourself what wonderful designs he creates.
