Sock Boots are a thing this season in the wide world of fashion. You could call it a sports luxe trend because it manages to meet both categories. The sporty image results through the sock like fabric surrounding your foot and the luxe is added by amazing brands designing their pairs of their own.
There are all different kinds of sock boots, over the knee peeptoe boots, or a thigh high and ankle high models. You can team up this kind of boot with many different fancy or rock’n roll looks, this trend works with all of them. As you can see here I like to style my sock boots by Fendi with a short hot dress. I fell in love with this pair of shoes the minute I laid my eyes onto it. The cut is so clean and it harmonizes perfectly with my feet. Its really as if slipping into socks and the feet feel light and easy. But at the same time they look so fancy and elegant because of the fine cut.
The little white edges on the black sock boots on the top and around the toes give a cute little extra touch. It reminds me a bit of a tennis sock, let’s call it the most elegant tennis sock boot I have ever seen. They are very comfy and I like to combine them with different outfits. In this picture I am wearing them with a black silk chiffon mini dress from RED Valentino with gilded stars. It has a tie in the neck and a ruffle through the hem. A cute dress with a sexy length and I really like those sparkling stars decorated all over the dress – leaves a lot of space for sparkling or for just daydreaming.
The sock boots are from Fendi out of the SS‘ 17 collection. To go with my outfit I am carrying a MCM Patricia shoulder bag in a vintage shape with modern embellishments and artisanal details. This model has cute crystallized appliqués including the punk rabbit which is accented with mink fur and studwork. A lovely rock’n roll handbag in a fancy design.
You could easily wear it with a cool denim outfit as well, the rocky piece would highlight any outfit.
To finish off my look I am wearing my Ray Ban aviator sunglasses in stylish gold.
The sock boots trend is my thing and I don’t think it will only last one season – the elegant and sporty contrast will always work – try for yourself!
