Gabrielle Chanel – Chanel Fragrance
GABRIELLE CHANEL is the beautiful new Chanel fragrance, representing everything the brand and the woman who gave birth to it, stands for. Gabrielle was a strong and courageous woman for her time, with a tireless thirst for independence. She achieved everything she was dreaming of and with Avant-garde in her soul and in her creation, she revolutionized fashion, luxe jewelry and the world of fragrances.
Only close and personal friends would dare to call her by her nickname “Coco” those days and today this name is legendary.
Chanel allowed me the honor to be part of the discovery of the GABRIELLE CHANEL fragrance, with a trip to Grasse in the South of France, a place you can call the cradle of perfumery. The rich soil of this region and the ideal climate provide fertile ground for flower plantations that are needed for perfuming leather.
The trip began with a little lunch in our Hotel Belles Rives in Cap d Antibes where our group of influencers got to know each other. After that we were driven to the Chanel Boutique in Cannes in order to check out the latest collection in the most amazing scenery. I had a little “dream come true” moment, finding my beloved Chanel surfboard that I had to get for my collection. The day finished off with a fancy dinner at the famous restaurant “Eden Roc” where we enjoyed a wonderful dinner with a spectacular view.
The next day we drove to Grasse with the Chanel beauty team, in order to get a full insight into the creation of the GABRIELLE CHANEL perfume. After a little welcome in the Bastide by Florence Nemo, the head of international PR F&B Chanel, the presentation started. Olivier Polge, the in House Perfumer Creator unveiled his new olfactory creation: GABRIELLE CHANEL. Then we got the chance to visit the tuberose fields, a plant that is considered the most fragrant flower of the plant kingdom. My nose was spoilt with the amazing scents and it was great fun to observe the harvesters great and hard work. The owner of these fields, for several generations, Monsieur Joseph Mul and his son-in-law Fabrice Bianchi, demonstrated in a most charming way in which way they take care of the flowers and how they are harvested. The tuberose is a most special ingredient for the new perfume and therefore so important.
After having learnt so much about the story behind the scent, we were able to make our personal little flower wreaths, which you can see me wearing on my head.
After a little lunch and some leisure time it was time to leave the stunning countryside.
Each perfume from Chanel tells a little story about a chapter in Gabrielle’s life, it’s all about love, friendship, a journey or a special place she visited. GABRIELLE CHANEL conveys her full personality with all facets of her loving soul and her temperament.
The new fragrance “Gabrielle Chanel” is an inspiration for many women, and definitely for myself – try it out and experience the magical moment.
