Stirrup pants are a trend that remind me of the 80`s, when they were all over the fashion zone. Even in skiwear on the slopes or in workout wear, worn with tight bodies on top. They aren’t everyone’s cup of tea, but my opinion is that in a fancy combination, they look very elegant. And what is so practical, next to them looking very chic, they don’t slip up the leg, so you always have this straight leg line. The stirrup pants have their comeback this season and they are shown in all kinds of different fabrics and colors.
I was in Paris during Fashion Week checking out the latest designs and trends. I love watching the visitors and the Parisians, all dressing up for this crazy week all around fashion. And for this occasion I was showing my latest favorites as well.
In this look you can see me wearing an elegant suit combination by the wonderful brand Marc Cain. The stirrup pants are also a thing you can see on the streets of Paris, all by various designers.
Marc Cain stands for elegant and clean looks, always going with the latest styles and trends, but being sincere to the brands handwriting. The traditional house is known for its quality and fine materials and you can see that in every piece they create. Marc Cain stands for strong and independent women who know who they are. I like the strong and clean looks and they stand for my ideals.
The blazer and stirrup pants are in a cool black and white pattern – checkered patterns are so big this season as well, in all kind of different interpretations. I chose to hold the blazer together with a fancy black belt with a gold buckle from Hèrmes. A little accessory matching the stylish suit form Marc Cain. My shoes are from Christian Louboutin in black, there is no more color needed. The handbag by Marc Cain adds an elegant red tone to the outfit and I personally love the combination of red with black and white. This bag with a gold buckle has a perfect size to fit all my essentials for a day in Paris. And it is a nice eye-catcher in a lovely bright red.
Stirrup pants are a cool comeback trend that fits to my trip and style, perfect for business meetings or for a walk down the Champs Élysées.
