A playful dress is something I love to have in my wardrobe, there is always an occasion or a place to wear it at. Playful dresses are romantic and cute, but with a new styling they can get a complete new image. And as you all know how much I love to mix different styles, to combine new pieces with vintage
ones, or to play with accessories – this outfit is my latest creation of a great fashion mix.
Underneath the cool pullover I am wearing a playful dress, giving it this sporty touch with the top.
The beautiful dress is a long lace off-shoulder dress from Self-Portrait. It has short sleeves and a sweetheart neckline with buttons. The dress shows a lot of leg through the lace, which makes it a real sexy and romantic piece at the same time. And showing shoulders is always a sexy aspect in a top. This playful dress can be worn elegantly on a red carpet with high heels, or for a walk by the beach with cute sandals – just see what occasion you need it for. A perfect piece to pack for a summer holiday, you can style it during the day casually and chic for the evening.
I chose to wear it with a sportive knit pullover, this cool turquoise piece with a neon print ‚Tuesday‘ is a fun piece from Alberta Ferretti. It is so fresh and fun with the neon writing and you can wear it with an edgy pair of jeans or a short skirt as well. Or try it with a long blazer over it to create a business/sportive mix.
Wearing it over the playful dress I converted the style of the dress completely and created a fun day look.
To go with my look I picked up the color of the writing on the pullover and slipped into my neon yellow pumps from Christian Louboutin. I love pumps and I love to show them off and so the more they shine or sparkle, the better. My neon yellow bag from Yves Saint Laurent is a perfect accessory as well, rounding up the color from top to bottom.
Last but not least you can see me wearing my blue mirrored sunglasses from Mykita. They finish off my powerful style mix.
A playful dress is amazing in so many ways and it is fun to play around with the different styles you can create around it – try it out and have fun!
