In Collaboration with Marc Cain /Advertisement
Le Riad Marc Cain was a spectacular fashion show during Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in Berlin. The beautiful brand Marc Cain presented their latest collection in a Moroccan flair, inspired by the magic of the amazing city Marrakech and the magic of a thousand and one nights. The focus of the pieces was on sophisticated prints, strong colors and lovely shades of pastel – a very lively and great collection. I personally loved the details on every piece, next to the great colors there were ruffles, frills and flounces – all adding this very feminine touch to them. The models were wearing turbans and colorful hair bands and all the accessories spreaded the vibes of the African continent. What a wonderful atmosphere – as if I had travelled there for a night.
The day before the big event I visited the showroom and chose my favorite look from the new collection. I immediately fell for the bright pink suit in a super feminine cut with a short blazer and slim pants. The shoes are in a stunning red with a sparkling star buckle on the tip. The handbag is in an orange yellow with a red line around it. I love the mix of pink, red and yellow – like a sunset in Marrakech. To go with it I chose a stunning coat that you can wear on both sides – one color is the orange yellow and the other is held in orange pink – lovely color mixes. On day two we did a great streetstyle shooting with the outfit and the results you can see in my pictures. The styling was done by the amazing team from La Biosthetique, doing their magic with my hair and my make-up. Marc Cain took care of everything and I was really satisfied with the entire look.
Before the Le Riad Marc Cain show I was invited to the red carpet with a large group of VIPs and it was fun to show the crowd my Marc Cain style. Inside the front row was filled with high-class guests, such as Veronica Ferres, Annemarie Carpendale, Joy Denalane and many more great ladies and gentlemen.
Then the spectacular show began and everyone was super excited about the collection and the wonderful atmosphere. I think everyone felt like being in a fairy tale of a thousand and one nights. There was one really emotional moment at the end, when the founder and owner Helmut Schlotterer got up onto the stage and thanked the Managing Director of Design, Karin Veit, for 43 years of working together and honoring her outstanding job.
The after party was great fun, celebrating Marc Cain and their latest designs and enjoying a lovely evening among great old and new friends.
Le Riad Marc Cain was a great event, showing a great variety of designs in great colors and patterns in this amazing Moroccan atmosphere – thanks for a perfect time with you!
