A striped shirt is an essential piece I like to have among my selection of t-shirts. Shirts are always important, to complete an outfit and of course they have to match the entire style. And sometimes they can even be the centerpiece if it has a cool motif for example or a fun statement.
And then there are the band shirts that also look really cool – not needing much more around them. But this striped shirt is a classic – it’s the marine style with the red and white stripes and it simply looks cute. It is from Saint Laurent and has the logo written in small letters over the chest. This simple but at the same time fancy t-shirt can be combined with many other pieces – try it with a white suit, or a cool leather skirt or just like I am wearing it with a pair of jeans.
This model is the dark blue super skinny jeans from Levi’s with a perfect summer length. Great to style with beautiful heels or a funky sneaker. These pants are an all-rounder – you can wear them with everything. A good piece to pack when you go on a holiday for example. You’ll be dressed in no time, just add a little t-shirt, some flats and you’re ready to go.
Over my striped shirt I chose a beautiful contrast piece, my amazing white, blue and red tweed jacket by Balmain. I love classy pieces like this one, it always looks perfectly dressed and it immediately changes the style into a very sophisticated one.
And for this outfit it helps to contribute to my passion in mixing up different kind of styles. I continue with my bag in clear Plexiglas from Chanel in the shape of a perfume bottle. A fun and stylish accessory that catches everyone’s eye, especially in combination with my red Prada Flame wedges. It’s just a perfect match.
My hat is the vintage Chanel Bakerboy cap in black, together with my black Céline sunglasses I think it rounds up perfectly with my look.
The striped shirt is not only made for sailors among us, it is a wonderful summer piece that always gives you this little cute touch – slip into one and bring out the cutie in yourself.
