The headband style is a trend that reminds me of the good old days back in school. Don’t we all sometimes miss these times, when there was nothing more to worry about than getting good grades, getting the homework and assignments done – but otherwise we were quite free. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t want to go back, but it is a great time to remember. I already loved fashion while being a student and as you know my passion has never faded and today it is my job – lucky me.
The headband style is absolutely fashionable for all ages nowadays and I think it can look really cute and it compliments a couple of styles really nicely. Blair Waldorf from the successful series Gossip Girl actually brought it back to our minds, by styling hairbands in perfection in her phase as a school role model.
In this image you can see me wearing the headband style with a vintage Dior scarf from my collection. First of all, it keeps the hair out of my face and I also think it looks super chic. Look through your closet and see what kind of scarves you have, that you can then easily function into the cool style.
This headband goes really well with this beautiful shirt La Chemise Olhao in off white by Jacquemus. I really love the interpretation of a classic piece in this feminine style, closing with a loose bow in the front. The style lies super elegant around the waistline and it compliments the silhouette.
As you know my passion for mixing styles, I combined it with a nice pair of AG Adriano Goldschmied denims in dark blue. Jeans always work, with elegant or sporty styles – so it´s good to have a couple of pairs in your collection.
My sandals are the beautiful white Inez leather ones by Saint Laurent – I love how they wrap around the ankle and the foot. Another great piece is my white Gaia`s Ark bag by Cult Gaia, it is modern and has this cool design that caught my eyes earlier. And it is great for my love in mixing different kind of items in different styles.
To complete my look, I put on my white Saint Laurent New Wave 213 Lily sunglasses, they have this nice cat shaped form that I really like.
The headband style is always wonderful to dig out again once in a while – get out your favorite bands and style them around your head, it will look beautiful!
