WERBUNG – In Collaboration with MCM

Pattern mix is not only super big right now in the fashion world but it is also great fun and the best opportunity to go a bit wild in your outfit. Of course, as with all styles it is important not to go overboard. But a lot is allowed here, and maybe I can inspire you and give you a few styling tips.

I think it is great to mix fashion items, no matter if its colors or patterns or old and new – for me this is a passion to always find new amazing way of combining old vintage favorites with new amazing styles. With the pattern mix I think it is important that the colors harmonize, since the different combination of patterns already bring in a lot of life into into the look.

Animal print is big this season and so are these amazing chain patchworks as you can see in my outfit in this image. I love both and the chain patchwork is so Versace and brings out a lot of glamour. For me it has something very elegant and classy and it works for so many occasions. Just as always, it depends what you like to style it with.

Right now, while enjoying a lot of fashion styles and mixes in Paris during Fashion Week, I love to bring out all my favorite new looks. The city and the vibes are so inspiring to me and I just love sucking up the atmosphere and the French way of life. As I let you know before I am also a big fan of the French women’s style and so there is plenty for me to look out for here.

My pattern mix I am showing you in this image is made up of a short fur jacket from Yves Salomon with a beautiful animal print. The large black print really has something wild about it and it is great fun to style it with different looks. It also goes super well with a casual pair of jeans or nice black leather pants and a tight black sweater. Just see what you feel like wearing along with it.

I chose a combination of a pleating chain patchwork printed skirt and a matching shirt from Zara. I love the fine material and the flouncing skirts. The style is a strong contrast to the jacket and that gives me another chance to mix cool fabrics and to follow the pattern mix.

Along with my outfit I chose this beautiful soft Berlin belt bag in Visetos by MCM in cognac. MCM is a German born brand from Munich, founded in 1976 and successful and so much appreciated by my me since they caught my attention. I love the commitment to perfection they follow, by using finest fabrics and leathers and always creating timeless pieces. The quality is amazing and every piece will last you a lifetime. The designs are classy and innovative, always looking into the future and going with the trend and time.

I always find fresh new pieces that totally meet my style and that inspire me to new stylings. They really know how to perfect the evolution between the old and the new – as I said before in this text, that is my passion as well and therefore we match really well. This belt bag is really hip and chic and I love that you can wear it around your waist or you can carry it  – leaves you free to decide what works best.

My shoes are the Metrisandal with an open toe from Christian Louboutin with this lovely detail of tape-style straps. Perfect for my pattern mix! The sunglasses are the Gucci cat-eye radiant ivory sunglasses and they finish off this story.

Try the pattern mix and see what you can dig out from deep down in your closet – and then go out and find some new styles to combine with it – you will have a lot of fun, I can assure you!
