A printed skirt is a fun fashion piece that tells a little story – which can be in form of any print. There can be flowers, animals, graphics and patterns – there are no limits in this area. I really enjoy color and images on fashion items, they just bring fun and joy into your look.
Of course, I also love wearing one colored styles, it depends on the daily mood or on the program waiting for me. And in the end, it is all about variety and finding new creations – my passion and my job which I couldn’t enjoy any more. This printed skirt is from NO.21, a sequined twill piece with a Palm and flower print.
Flowers are a big and important part of my life. My home is always filled with different kind of bouquets, in all kind of lovely colors and scents. They bring so much beauty and nature inside, which I enjoy especially when spending time in my own place. When I have time, I try to spend time in nature, first of all it is relaxing and second of all it is inspiring in so many ways. Like it was for this pretty skirt. The Palm trees I must admit make me want to fly straight to the next beach and dig my feet into the sand. So great to carry lovely images on yourself!
To go with my printed skirt, I slipped into a little loose red wool sweater from Ganni, a good basic sweater in a fun bright red color. It picks up wonderfully with the flowers on my skirt. You can also easily wear it over a pair of denims or with fun white summer pants. Actually, it fits lots of styles if you’re in the mood for bright red.
I am for sure, also wearing this timeless bright red coat from Givenchy. It has this classic shape that lasts forever and that compliments so many looks. What I like is that it suits a fancy outfit just as well as a casual jeans and sneaker style. Just see what works best for you. Definitely a keeper in your closet, just as all pieces that I am showing you in this story. They can all work perfectly individually or in this spring combination I am showing to you.
My shoes are the black sandals from Gianvito Rossi, tied up around the ankle and giving the leg a little extra attention. In this outfit I like to stay in the colors bright red, combined with a little black and white. The strong red and black soften up a bit with the white base of the printed skirt.
Therefore, I chose the cute mini bag Lady Dior, it fits the style and it brings a little playful mood to the look. This little cutie is also so diverse, all in black and in this cool design it goes with many things.
To finish of my story, I am wearing my black and red cat-eye shaped sunglasses – a cool summer accessory that always brings this little extra along.
This printed skirt for sure made me dream away for a little while, taking me too far away beaches and happy places – I hope I could bring you a bit closer as well!
