Valentino is a traditional and famous fashion label, that I wouldn’t want to miss out on in my life and in my career. And of course, in my closet. The designs are so beautiful and every piece is a lifetime keeper – combining style and eternity. I love collecting wonderful art pieces from great designers of our time, they never lose their charm and they will always be fashionable. Trends come and go, that is a fact, but they all return at some point. Sometimes in new interpretations and sometimes in a classic way – I also love to style vintage and classic styles with new ones.
This is the amazing and fun part of my work – I get to play around my passion and my favorite items. And I love to gather inspiration from all those amazing designers out there.
Valentino worked his way up in the scene and his style is unmistakable – he also gained fame for his amazing red evening gowns – pieces that let every lady look like a movie star on the red carpet. He even got his own color – Valentino red!
This is the tone I am showing you in this new look, made up of a short red wool skirt with the embroidered V-Logo on the front pockets. The classic shape of this piece offers a pretty waistline and the slightly flared style flatters your legs. To go with it I slipped into the matching oversized blazer in the same tone. These types of blazers are trending right now in all kind of cool colors and they look great with skirts or casual pants.
Underneath I am wearing a silk blouse by the lovely designer Valentino, staying in this red mood and celebrating the beautiful color. It is the logo printed twill shirt, with blue and white accents as well. I love how the three pieces harmonize and the look is classy yet cool and so appropriate for many occasions.
For my Valentino styling I put on my white Malone Souliers Maureen Mules with a double strap – a fancy shape and a great new summer heel.
Right now, I am very fond of hairbands and I like to combine them with all kind of looks. This black hairband is from Prada, in black silk satin, a great accessory for my looks.
To finish off I am carrying a white purse-bag clutch from Chanel, also a classy piece that always works.
Valentino is and will always be a partner in crime in my fashion life and I can’t wait to show you more of his designs in the future – stay tuned for more to come.
