Batik knit is a wonderful combination in order to take amazing colors and patterns into the colder season. The art of batik is an Eastern method of dying fabrics and achieving the most beautiful results in different patterns and images. The process of dying the items is very complex because each color has to be done separately – but in the end you get fabulous designs.
I love the influences of different cultures and of what they add to the fashion world. This beautiful batik knit pullover you can see me wearing is from Heartbreaker. It is a soft cashmere piece in two lovely trending colors, pink and red. Heartbreaker is known for their great designs, by using high quality cashmere and putting it into colorful and detailed pullovers and scarves. The feeling of cashmere on my skin is so soft and warming, I always carry a piece with me when travelling or when it gets colder.
I love the batik knit piece in pink and red, it reminds me of an evening light when the sun goes down into the Pacific Ocean. With this pretty piece I am wearing a red leather mini skirt with an integrated belt around the waist from Set Fashion. The contrast of the fine and the rough material is cool and the colors add up nicely.
The short skirt is sexy and it works with a white blouse for example as well, or with a t-shirt and a short jeans jacket. My red satin pumps from Christian Louboutin with a satin bow give my look an elegant touch. Tied around the ankle they also give the leg a little cute and playful detail.
My handbag is the silver shadow colored MCM Milla Tote bag with cute little star-eyed bunny details. It shimmers nicely in the sun and the details are cool, it is a great piece for the day or for the evening. You can also wear it with a black evening gown and the shiny style will let you sparkle. This entire outfit combines a lot of different styles, which I love to combine so much.
Batik knit is a beautiful style to let the dark days brighten up a bit more and to let the sun shine on yourself.
