Boho chic is a style of fashion drawing on various bohemian, gypsy and hippie influences. It
combines colorful, detailed, folk-inspired pieces with simple, modern pieces. Reflecting on the fashion style of boho chic I combined my navy split tie-waist maxi dress from Shein (which is on sale now 40% off!) with my new gladiator sandals from Valentino. On top I jazzed it up with my Chanel necklace and my beloved Chanel vintage bracelet in gold. By wearing my red, old, floppy hat from H&M I tried to give the bohemian outfit a vintage touch.

With a dress like this you are already dressed up. I love one-piece-clothes because you only have to think about the details you could wear with it. Flats are always perfect with an A-shape dress and on your arms you can wear some bracelets or armlets which support a gypsy style perfectly.

To give the whole outfit a breach of style you can also wear it with a leather jacket and biker boots. These pieces would give the whole look a touch of coolness to make it more wearable for every day. The way I wear the look now, I’d recommend it for a cool holiday style. It’s that perfect kind of hippie dress for warm days in Ibiza or somewhere else in the world where you can feel the sand under your feet while inhaling the salty air.

Designer Savannah Miller, elder sister of actress Sienna Miller, described a „real bohemian“ as: „… someone who has the ability to appreciate beauty on a deep level, is a profound romantic, doesn’t know any limits, whose world is their own creation, rather than living in a box“.
