Today I am wearing my pleated skirt by Max & Co. in a more casual way: edgy combined with
my Stan Smith sneakers from Adidas and my beloved white shirt from Steffen Schraut. The white shirt is very long and has hidden buttons at the back, which you can open and wear in a loose way. My Max & Co. skirt is made of laminated print jersey and has that special craquelé effect. The sunray pleats and the slightly flared silhouette make that skirt a trendy it-piece to wear actually. As it is fitted in the torso and has a slightly loose fit at the hips, it perfectly swings when you walk. Its waist is made with an elastic grosgrain and the garment is unlined – altogether in a charming ankle-length.
In order to wear the skirt in an elegant way, you can put on some high heels and wear it with a simple white T-Shirt or a thin, classic round neck pullover. On my blog post I show it with a waist belt from Hermès – ideal to defy your curves and give the whole outfit a little touch of more rocking style. As a nice detail to the belt, I wear my Hermès bracelet from the same collection, named as the „Collier de Chien“. It is designed as a collar for dogs and really looks like one. The white sneakers break the more elegant style and change the whole look into a sporty and casual outfit. I have to admit that this look is not very typical for me, but I really love it. What do you think of a pleated skirt. Is this style something for you as well? And if yes, in which way do you wear it?
