The off the shoulder neckline shows off a hint of skin for an alluring twist on the gathered,
peasant blouse-inspired look. Youthful, romantic and oh-so pretty, this blouse from Pixie Market has everything I love about summer style. My pin stripe light blue top with elastic attached balloon ruched and exaggerated sleeves is defined by feminine, shoulder-accentuating silhouettes.

On my blog post I wear the Bardot top in combination with my fringed and destroyed jeans from Zara. That denim gives the whole outfit some contrast and makes the look not too elegant but rather edgy. Matching the blue stripes of my blouse and making a contrast to the distressed jeans I wear a very classic, elegant and well known satin pumps from Manolo Blahnik. Do you remember the gorgeous blue Cinderella-like Manolos Carrie wore at the end of the Sex and the City movie? Yeah, I couldn’t get them out of my head either. That famous shoes designer’s line has earned icon status; the distinctively sexy and sophisticated heel on a Manolo Blahnik shoe is instantly recognizable. The collection is celebrated around the world, and has been immortalized in fashion-forward films and television series.

Finishing the outfit I chose the milk bottle bag from Chanel’s Supermarket collection which is a funny accessory and makes the whole look less tense.

In order to wear the off the shoulder blouse in a more elegant way, you can also put on a sleek skirt or tailored pants for the evening. Combined with a long skirt and sneakers gives the whole look an edgy touch. An off the shoulder blouse is just what you need for casual days under the warm sun. Perfectly with sun-kissed skin and oversized sunglasses for vacation. Where will you spend your summer holidays ? I’m not sure yet. But I’ll let you know…
