Floating, long clothes like dresses or coats are the kind of pieces I totally adore. Especially if they are made of silk. You can probably wear everything underneath. I personally really like to mix and match some elegant pieces with unique and used vintage couture. On my latest pictures from New York Fashion Week I’m wearing the beautiful streamlined silk coat of Galvan. It’s a perfect classy must-have to combine with almost everything. The glossy and glamorous in floor-grazing silk texture allows you to wear that belted satin coat with dresses in all kind of length or denim.
My destroyed, vintage RE/DONE Ass Rip Jeans is a high-waist model and made from reconstructed vintage Levi’s denim. It has been worn a lot before so that it began to give and tear. I love the cool contrast between the 90s style, used denim in contrast to that slim, floor length coat in silver grey.
Underneath the coat I wear my light and off-white silk top from Jadicted. The classic Céline bag matches perfectly in color to my cute glamorous mules from Gucci. These padded metallic silver mules are a key piece of this season’s vintage-inspired Resort ’16 hit collection. Crafted from supple leather with a curved block heel these ultra-comfortable shoes are finished off with a quilted cross-over front strap. For me the ideal shoes to walk in. But perhaps not for a longer way through the Big Apple…
In combination with slim fit denim, a round neck Tee and some used sneakers, the Galvan coat will also look cool and edgy. Of course that’s maybe the better style to walk long distances in Manhattan 😉 As during the New York Fashion Week all streets are fully crowed, it takes you hours to drive from one district to another. But what about you? Are you more into elegant high heels or comfy sneakers?
