I am a big fan of the Parisian lifestyle, or how I call it “Parisian Chic”. The Fashion Week in Paris is always very special -This city is like no other. Little cafés, pretty streets, fashion designers and historical architecture, everything about Paris is beautiful. It is a fashion capital with so much history, power and uniqueness. From Chanel to Louis Vuitton – Paris is still a leader in the fashion world.
For this PFW look I certainly wore French designers. I am wearing a crop top by Balmain with long sleeves. The cut of the piece makes the belly slightly visible and highlights the waist. The metallic Zara skirt can be combined perfectly with a cropped shirt because of the high-waist cut. The pleated fabric is silver and very shiny. To underline the waist even more, my studded Hermès “collier de chien” waist belt is the best choice! The black and silver piece matches the shirt and the skirt likewise. My clutch is handmade by MDclutch. The Ukrainian Designer makes a bag out of the cover of your favorite book, so I chose Chanel!
A hat is always a must-have for a Parisian look! My striped small hat by Gucci in black and white looks so French in combination with the rest of the outfit. I adore the shape of it and you can wear the beret differently – as I did it on the pictures or for instance tilted to one side. The also black and white heels by Saint Laurent are very classy and always a good idea for Paris days and evenings.
This outfit is very feminine, but strong at the same time. This contrast is typical for French fashion, as Chanel and Saint Laurent were for instance the first designing manly clothing and suits for women – a no-go back then, which turned into everyday wear for the modern woman.
I love the Parisian Chic look. It is so timeless but always trendy and I really felt like someone from Paris. When traveling I get inspired by different national styles to try out new things. Do you also like to slip into a role from time to time with your outfit?
