What a great new fashion trend, wearing socks and sandals – a no go in former times. My personal benefit is that I can wear my favorite open shoes and sandals during the colder days and style them with all different kind of fashionable socks.
Here I am wearing this new look with a navy blue dress by Steffen Schraut designed with a white so called Peter Pan collar and white cuffs. It is a lady like and cozy outfit at the same time – lady like with its straight cut and cozy being a shirtdress. It is a noble fashion piece spreading a lot of charm.
Great for a window shopping day in Florence, taking a little break of my work and checking out the highlights of the new season. I am clearly enjoying the energy of this amazing city full of art and fashion. A great place full of hidden inspirations in every little corner.
What I also love about the Steffen Schraut dress that it lets you feel a little bit like a young girl wearing her school uniform. It leaves space for your imagination with the Peter Pan collar, getting out the little girl in you for the day.
No matter where I am travelling to or where the next business meeting is taking me I like to show you my latest styling ideas. And as you all know how much I like to mix up styles I chose some rock glam to spice up the whole look.
I picked sparkling glitter socks by TK Maxx, wearing them in my Valentino Garavani Rockstud ankle strap pumps with studs. Clearly my feet are rocking the streets with all the glitter and studs! The contrast breaks up the outfit and turns it into a perfect style mix.
On top of all I am carrying my Alexander McQueen Britannia clutch box emblazoned with the Union Jack – this is an iconic collectors piece. Sparkling on the top with a Swarovski crystal embellished skull clasp, picking up the elements of my socks and sandals and rounding up my look. A perfect combination with the wonderful Steffen Schraut dress. Did I make you curious? Go get out your favorite open shoes and try the look.
