Backpacks are celebrating a big revival in the fashion world and I am celebrating along, carrying this pink iconic Stark mini backpack by MCM. MCM is known for its beautiful leather pieces in all kind of fabulous styles, but this piece is probably the most iconic bag ever in their story. It is an ultimate hands-free accessory, crafted from signature Visetos-print coated canvas with stud applications. You have plenty of space on the in- and outside in all the little compartments to carry along your belongings. It even has a special little sleeve for your mobile devices. I personally think that is a wonderful idea because I am always looking for my phone in my handbag. What is also great about this pink mini backpack is that you can carry it in your hand and make a stylish backpack a handbag.
It is a perfect accessory that you can combine with many outfits, for example try it out with a black business dress, or wear it with a sweet white summer dress. It will always compliment the look.
I chose to combine this it-piece with a very colorful outfit. I am wearing a short pink vintage Chanel jacket with playful rims around the outside and the pockets. I love this vintage piece, it is a very elegant and classy jacket and it spices up any look in a very fashionable way. The combination with a cool, edgy pair of jeans and a fun t-shirt is a great contrast and mix of different styles. Picking out some vintage pieces from my closet and matching them to new treasures is my passion as you know. This pair of jeans is a non-stretch denim and five pocket skinny 501 jeans from Levis. The brand created a re-interpretation for today. My stylish t-shirt is from the Chanel Cuba Cruise 2017 collection, the Viva Coco Cuba Libre. I enjoy the bright colors and the fun logo and the mix with my vintage jacket.
For another summer touch I picked my bright yellow pumps from Christian Louboutin, a real eye-catcher and the color let’s the sun shine from my feet. For all this brightness on a summer day I am wearing my Dior Reflected Aviator sunglasses in an elegant design.
