Handmade print on fashion items is something special because it takes a lot of time and effort to produce – and therefore it is also most quite expensive. But it does always look very special and you can see the work immediately and it stands out from regular prints. I like both, but once in a while a little handmade piece is something nice and special, that I like to show off. This beautiful yellow sweater is from the designer Wodka Ogurez and it has a cool handmade Nokia phone print on it. The print is so cool, it actually looks real – the details on the piece are amazing. Wouldn’t it be practical to have your phone always right on your chest? You wouldn’t waste so much time looking for your phone sometimes 😉
Underneath I am wearing a long black lace dress from Self-Portrait, a sexy long piece that works for different styles – it just depends what you feel like wearing it with. In this outfit I chose to combine it with my sunny sweater and that makes it perfect to wear in springtime without a coat. And it gives the beautiful dress a bit more casual touch. I love the warm cozy top with the handmade print and the mix with a long lace dress that shows a little leg. My black Dorothee Schumacher waist belt holds my outfit together.
The lace swings wonderfully around the legs when I am walking around the streets and when the sun is shining you get more glimpses of the legs. This dress would of course also look great just worn plain, for a night out or a dinner party. Or with an edgy jeans jacket over it for a cool street style.
My bag is the red velvet Gucci Marmont bag – velvet is a great thing in fashion and it is being used a lot in clothing and accessories right now. It has something very elegant about it and in this amazing red it is a perfect companion for a great outfit. To go with the color I chose my red patent Gianvito Rossi pumps, I love the mix of red and yellow – the contrast is super cool.
My jewellery is Chanel vintage, a bracelet with a golden CC sign and a plain bracelet to go with it. To finish of my style mix I am wearing the ladylike black Céline sunglasses.
I think once in a while it should be a handmade print, to show the work and the details of the designer and to wear a fun print like this funky Nokia phone – try it out.
