The animal print is and has always been a great trend in the fashion world – and this year it is really big again. It actually never really disappears but of course as with all trends, some years it is stronger and others it hides a bit, waiting to come out again later. That is the wonderful thing about fashion – it never really gets boring, because there are so many changes and new styles that come out. And of course, old ones, that just pause for some time to have their special return later on.

That’s why it’s very important to keep old treasures in your closet – you can always be sure that they will be fashionable again one day. And even if they’re not – I personally love to dig out my vintage pieces a lot, in order to combine them with new outfits and styles.

This is true for all your clothing and for the accessories as well. And I enjoy it so much to go through my old beauties once in a while, thinking of how to combine them again soon for an entire new look. Keep that in mind when sorting out your closet the next time.
But back to the great animal print – I am a big fan of it.

It always has something wild about it and it looks great in so many styles. You can for instance go completely wild like I did in this pic with a complete look in the pattern. But it also works with single pieces, like a cool blazer, coat or a cool pair of pants. Then you can add up some other trends with it – just see that you stay in one color for the rest of the outfit so it doesn’t get too disturbing.

My complete look in animal print is my lovely jumpsuit from Maison Valentino in a shiny gold tone. I totally love this sexy cut, being wide open around the chest, leaving this sexy touch – and with a wide leg for a flouncing trouser part. It doesn’t show too much nor to little, so it`s a great piece to show off a little of what you have. And of course it is a great eye catcher sparkling in gold and its Leopard pattern.

This beautiful piece I got from my favorite store in Zurich, Trois Pommes. There is a reason I love the shop so much – the collections are always high fashion and they offer timeless styles that will last forever – real keepers for your collection.

I styled this beauty with my Lou waistbelt bag in black quilted leather from Saint Laurent. It has this practical adjustable belt and the cute leather tassel. I love styling it with different looks and it’s great to have your hands free once in a while. And it looks super cool with my suit. My shoes are the Iriza Glitter heels in gold by Christian Louboutin, they round up my look perfectly and in style. You really need high heels with wide pants – it always makes your legs look much better and longer.

For this styling accessory wise I chose my beautiful Portugieser Chronograph watch from my lovely watch partner IWC. I love the blue color of the dial and the size – it is quite big as it is actually a man`s watch – but that’s what I enjoy so much, the contrast to the very feminine outfit and the masculine watch. It’s all about the mix and this beautiful IWC piece matches perfectly with this extraordinary look!

The animal print is a trend I always love to support – I love the wild and sexy touch it has and I think we should all bring out our wild side once in a while – what do you think?
