An oversized down coat is the new must have piece that is all over the place fashion wise right now. What a great item to slowly welcome the winter season. The days in autumn are already getting a bit cooler and I really enjoy getting out all my cozy sweaters and scarves from the back of my closet. And it’s time to snuggle up in big, warm jackets and coats again.
We were so blessed with a long and hot summer here in Germany and I can thankfully say I am ready for winter now. And it is great fun creating new styles with new trends and with more clothes on me – which is necessary the cooler it gets.
The oversized down coat first of all keeps you really warm and it feels like having a blanket wrapped around you when you are outside. And I love my blanket – don’t you do too? So, this style is just perfect for me.

This long silver oversized down coat from Airfield is trendy, warm and looks super cool. It will protect you of any weather condition and you can wrap yourself up or pull the XL hood over your head. The fun thing is that you can throw it over any look you like – a casual denim outfit or a fancy evening gown – it will fit all styles and be an eye-catcher. The coat is also really light – so easy to have on you. I chose to give this beautiful oversized down coat a little of my handwriting, by styling it with a large black waist belt.
This ripped Alaïa belt keeps the piece together and leaves me space to have it hang super loose around my body. I love mixing styles and this one works perfectly for me. Underneath I slipped into a black shift dress from Airfield as well. It’s sexy and fancy, with the hot zipper that goes down the entire front of it. And through my waist belt styling it shows even better on the streets.
My sandals are the Inez leather pair from Saint Laurent – breaking up the full and warm look on top, into an open fine style below. My clutch is a vintage Chanel bag that shines along with the silver coat.
To finish off a cool look I put on my white Saint Laurent New Wave 213 Lily sunglasses.
