In summer it’s all about the little white dress. A bright outfit, that works perfectly during the day
and for the night. As soon as your body gets tanned, it’s the perfect time to wear a white dress. With a white dress in your wardrobe you never make a mistake. If the style of the dress is not too special, you will keep it and wear it very often during the summer. The only must-have before is a sun-kissed complexion before wearing it. If your skin tone is too white the dress will make you very pale. So try to get some sun before wearing white or light clothes.

The white Balmain dress, I’m wearing in this blog post is from this season. I bought a very similar one from Balmain in black, almost three years ago. I think it’s important to spend the money on classic pieces, which are wearable for a long time. I have to admit that I’m a collector – and my wardrobe is bursting at the seams right now. So in the future I have to get rid of some of my clothes and sell them. But as mostly all of my clothes are more timeless fashion pieces, I can wear them again and again – like most of my bags and my shoes. The ones I wear on the pictures are about four years old and I still love them a lot. Unfortunately Saint Laurent is not making any more of these two-tone models in black and white. For me a perfect color combination for black and white clothes. But as you can see I wore them quite a lot on many of my previous posts. The model of this shoe is still available in black and a classic pumps of Saint Laurent, also perfect with a little white dress.
