The Leo print has its big boom right now – I wouldn’t call it a comeback, since this pattern never really disappears from the fashion scene. It just rests once in a while, but then it comes out again big time. Like these days, when designers of our time bring out the pattern in all kind of new looks. I love the wild aspect of the pattern, it has something very funky and at the same time elegant about it. I love the colors of nature and everything that has to do with it – and these brownish tones always get me.
The Leo print also looks great in other colors, for instance in a hot red or a stylish yellow. And it works for any kind of clothing piece – it looks wonderful on dresses, pants or jackets. Or on little accessories, like scarves, bags or shoes. You can decide for yourself how much of the pattern you want to pull off.
In this image I really felt like wearing an allover Leo print outfit. For this I chose this lovely suit from Jadicted. It is made up of a velvet blazer with a satin collar. It has a loose cut that makes it a casual chic piece, that you can easily style for the day or for a night out. It just depends what you want to wear it with. It works with black leather pants for example or a cool pair of denims.
For my allover look I slipped into the matching satin Leo print pants from Jadicted as well. The suit falls nicely around the body and lets you be dressed in no time. A great top and high heels with it and you are set for any occasion. I am wearing a black satin blouse from Balmain underneath. I love the wide cut out in the front, a sexy little touch to my look. And a little bit wild you could say as well!
Around my waist I am carrying the Lola color-block belt bag from Yuzefi – the tones pick up perfectly with the rest of my styling. And I enjoy the structured pattern of the bag – a cool contrast to the animal print.
My shoes are black pumps from Christian Louboutin, amazing shoes that go with so many looks. They always look wonderful and round up so many outfits. To complete this one, I put on a black hat form Borsalino, the Alessandria medium-brim piece made of felt. For me it completes this combination of different styles and finishes off in an elegant manner.
The Leo print can bring out your wild side once in a while – try it out and enjoy the feeling of wilderness and freedom.
