On 24 September 2016 I attended the IWC Gala Dinner during the Zurich Film Festival – For the love of cinema. IWC CEO Georges Kern invited his guests to a special night with Hollywood star Uma Thurman. After flying to Zurich I was collected by a Mercedes Benz limousine that brought me to my hotel, the PARK HYATT.

The event was divided into two scenes. After getting ready in my stunning Solace London gown I was picked up to attend the first scene: The “IWC Women’s Watch Tasting” for the preparation of the dinner. This happened in the brand’s boutique where I met nine other amazing woman I would spend the evening with. We were all selected to attend this event together and were introduced to the new collection and could discover their pieces to finally pick one watch for the night that matches our outfit. I chose the beautiful IWC Portofino Automatic Day & Night 37 for my long white evening dress, which is studded with diamonds. It was a very special event itself and a perfect start for the night to get to know each other.

After that we were invited to join the second scene – the IWC Schaffhausen Gala Dinner at Aura Zurich. The other nine women and me were driven in Mercedes Benz limousines to the red carpet for this event, where Uma Thurman presented the Filmmaker Award. I spent the amazing evening at our Ladies’ table, hosted by Nel-Olivia Waga, during the award presentation and the dinner. The prize that was awared to “Fortuna” and “Das Blue Note Projekt” is worth CHF 100,000 and aims to support the swiss movie projects in their production. Lastly I went to the after-show party of the event. The guests of the evening and other people joined the party – I had great talks and a lot of fun!

The organization of the event was really great and I met very interesting people– thank you IWC for the nice evening!
