A shirt dress is an absolute must-have this season! You’ll find them in long, short, plain or patterned… There are so many ways to wear this trend. For one of my Paris Fashion Week outfits I styled my L’Agence plaid shirt dress in combination with my bomber jacket by Schott NYC.
L’Agence designed a long multi-colored dress with a front button closure and a tie at the waist. This allows you to “play” with the piece of clothing. You can wear the tied bow for instance on the side, at the back or the front. Also, you can decide how to button up. I left some bottoms open so that it looks like the dress has a deep slit. Like this it appears to be a bit flirty. The shirt dress shapes the body really well because of the length and the accentuation of the waist. Also, the fabric is super light and soft!
To stay warm during colder autumn days I wore a classic but modern Schott NYC bomber jacket in bordeaux-red. Due to the brand they were the first putting a zipper on a jacket in the states – The American brand is considered to be revolutionary and iconic. I really like that they produce every piece by hand and mainly locally. The jacket is made out of a nylon flight satin and it is padded. The color is nicely bright with gold zipper details in the front and on the side entry pocket. To put emphasis on the color detailing I wore my also gold Ray Ban sunglasses.
For the choice of my accessories I tried to pick up on the colors of the shirt dress. My blue velvet Phillip Lim boots as well as the bright yellow Gucci bag go very well with the colors and style of the cool dress.
The overall look of the PFW outfit is casual but also edgy. Shirt dresses and bomber jackets are greatly trendy this season. Did you already get yours?
