Oui to white and feminine Parisian styles! The woman from Paris has such a unique and elegant look like no other. It is a combination of feminine and masculine details as well as timeless and contemporary styles – it is the perfect balance.
Even weeks after Paris Fashion Week I still like to dress this way with an opposing styling of different elements. My grey cloth pants are super contemporary and inspired by the classic suit trousers for men at work. The very loose cut is characteristic for this season. Whereas skinny pants were adored the last years, Designers now love loose and big trousers! This look is famous in Scandinavian and is currently taking over the international fashion scene. Culottes for instance are the must have piece of this season.
Back to my pants, which are very feminine but inspired by the masculine wardrobe. The piece by the brand Oui is such a nice one for a Parisian look – especially when styling it opposing with a casual and chic shirt. The white and loose T-shirt, also by Oui, is made out of silk in the front and out of a grey jersey fabric in the back. I advise to tuck one’s shirt in when wearing those huge pants to keep a nice shape as you underline the waist like this. You can also combine it greatly with a cropped shirt or sweatshirt for example.
As the pants are very eyecatching I advise not wear super oversized and long tops. The white Oui jacket fits the style of the outfit perfectly. It is light and slim but not too sheer. Another alternative is to wear a masculine blazer if you want to extend this style even more. And for a cool Parisian look it is always a good idea to drap the coat over the shoulder – this is way more casual.
My accessories are elegant and feminine. The timeless and classic belt by Hermes in black matches the small black Furla clutch and my also black Monokel Eyewear sunglasses. The look of the pointed flats by Tabitha Simmons in combination with the wide leg of the pants is perfect for this casual-elegant look.
I adore a good combination of white and grey with black details! The Parisian mix of masculinity and feminism as well as timeless and contemporary is one of my favorite looks and never out of style. And you can where it anywhere, not only in Paris! This style is known and loved internationally and inspires women from all over the world!
