My vintage sweaters and vintage pieces in general are one of the key items for my fashion stylings. First of all, they always bring a little personal story with them and second they can pimp up every outfit. I love going through old boxes and to dig out great items that I nearly forgot about. Then
I immediately get ideas how to style the things with great new pieces out of the latest collections and trends.
Exactly like this amazing grey mélange sweater from Chanel. With the logo printed in big red capital letters, a red lipstick and a powder box from Chanel, it is one of these beloved and never forgotten items. I actually got it from a mom whose son I babysitted years ago. She gave it to me when I was 18 and now that I found it again, funny memories come up from those days. I love it dearly and here I am wearing it with a midi skirt in a classic trench silhouette from Self-Portrait. The outstanding skirt imposes with an asymmetric cut and a thigh high slit in beige cotton. Here you can see my passion for mixing different styles clearly again. For me the contrast works perfectly.
My MCM Milla Loden Tote bag which is available exclusively in the MCM store in Munich, is crafted in premium Spanish leather and felt, featuring a well organized five-compartment interior and contrast-color details at the strap. This classy handbag suits the skirt and the rest of my look perfectly. The contrast of the felt and the leather in the bag are very elegant and this is a perfect accessory for many occasions. Carry it to a business meeting or on a shopping tour – it will always pick up plenty of attention.
Just like my red silk ‘Douce Du Desert’ Christian Louboutin pumps with a beautiful ribbon tied around my ankle. A sexy little detail for the leg and oh so pretty at the same time. To round up my look, I chose sunglasses from Céline.
I am really glad to have gone through my old boxes in order to find my so much loved and missed vintage sweater. Why don’t you do the same and see what treasures you hold in your boxes!
