This year I was on an exciting DS 3 Fashion Tour during Fashion Week in my beloved city Paris. The city is always packed with most interesting people and brands from all over the planet during FW, all being on the same mission: presenting and searching the latest trends. What I love is the mixture of so many different styles and interesting personalities you meet here. The best time to show off what you have and to share the passion for beauty, no matter which industry it comes from.
What a great honor to experience these days with the beautiful company DS Automobiles, who invited me on this special DS 3 Fashion Tour. DS stands for the Haute Couture in the automobile industry, so could there be a better partner for me in Paris? I don’t think so and the DS 3 was created with so much love in every little detail, and it is a beauty from the outside and from the inside. This special limited edition – the DS 3 Ines de la Fressange – is named after a very inspirational lady out of the world of fashion. This model is very elegant and enjoys many extra technologies that the brand developed, but it still carries the DS 3 character. I love the elegant front side with the “DS Wings” and the bright LED lighting system. And the soft top doesn’t only look great, it opens in no time and I can enjoy the convertible feeling. I really enjoy feeling the wind in my face and to be able to see even more of the city while driving around.
Together with my fancy and cool vehicle I was able to visit all the hotspots in Paris and to get on time to all my appointments and shootings I had on my packed schedule. The team of DS was a perfect host, giving me this exceptional car and also having organized a wonderful program for me.
On our first day I was invited to the Flagshipstore “DS World”, where I was able to get a closer insight into the design and extras of this extraordinary car. But the Showroom wasn’t only about the DS, they had installed a beautiful Marilyn Monroe exhibition, with amazing pictures of the Hollywood and Fashion Icon. As a special surprise, I even received the book for the exhibition as a gift. The label also had planned cool photo shoots, allowing me to present my latest looks and styling them around the car. It was a lot of fun to show my outfits together with a stylish companion – thanks DS 3 – you were a perfect partner for me.
The next day I enjoyed a typical little Parisian lunch at L’Avenue, one of my favorite restaurants in Paris, with the Grazia Fashion Director Nino Cerone. It was such a pleasure meeting him and next to exchanging fashion news we had a great time getting to know each other. After the lunch break we visited the Showroom of the wonderful Inès de la Fressange, which took place in the traditional hotel Ritz. I had a great talk about Karl Lagerfeld with Inès, who delivered the inspiration to the automobile company for the DS3 and designed a special “Voyageur” handbag, a little goodie belonging to the interior of the car.
I had an amazing time on my DS 3 Fashion Tour in Paris – the driving experience was wonderful and thanks to the charming team no wishes were left open – thanks so much DS Automobiles and looking forward to more fun stories with you.
