The cropped red turtleneck is one of my favorite essential pieces this season. First of all it is so nice and warm and second of all it is in the color of the season as well. Red is flashy and warm and it has always been the color of love. The time around Christmas and New Years Eve is filled so much with love and coziness, and for me it is the best time to spend some quiet days with my beloved family.
Snuggling up in front of the fireplace and enjoying happy dinners or just taking long walks together is so precious. And it’s the best time to get out those warm sweaters and to combine them with all kind of different looks. I love switching between elegant gowns and dresses to casual and comfy looks. And a big sweater looks great with casual day outfits or over a nice long dress or skirt. The contrast for example of a slim leather mini skirt worn with a big pullover looks great.
This red cropped turtleneck from H&M has lovely wide sleeves that give the piece a cool style. The length of it is also great, it leaves space for the piece you choose to wear with it. And bulky pieces shouldn’t be to long when wearing boyfriend jeans or other wider pieces with it. That takes away the charm. For this look I chose my Adriano Goldschmied Boyfriend denim from AG Jeans. I really like the dark blue color and the edgy style of them. They are great to wear with different styles, just like my cropped red turtleneck or with a fancy silk blouse.
My Saint Laurent ankle boots in black patent leather are a real eye-catcher with the funky heel and I can show them of best when rolling up the jeans a bit. The elegant handbag is the Paloma medium tote from Christian Louboutin, crafted in Italy from black leather. It has contrasting panels made of red leather and metal spikes and the shoulder strap is detachable. I love the red color shining out of the bag, picking up with my cropped red turtleneck. The black Dior sunglasses finish of my outfit made up of a mix of different styles.
The cropped red turtleneck is a cool piece that goes perfectly along with the season, but it is a classic piece that you should always have in your closet for the colder days.
