A plaid shirt is not strictly intended for loggers – and if so, that would be such a big loss for the fashion world. The shirts are trending right now again and I am a big fan. The plaid pattern is a big subject this season in the industry, no matter if in coats, suits or shirts. But the good old plaid shirt is just a piece that should be included into your closet. It is always fun to wear and it looks great. At the same time it will keep you warm and with the right styling you can wear it with a fancy, cool outfit on a night out. It will also work with a pair of denims if you are simply looking for a very easy look.

In this picture you can see me wearing a styling in a cool and funky way. I chose a red and black plaid shirt from Set Fashion. These colors and the plaid work are beautiful in fall and they don’t only look cozy and warm. The shirt is cut very widely and it has a high collar, which I like to fold up around my neck. As a nice contrast I slipped into a short leather skirt and a matching leather belt, decorated with studs, by Set Fashion. The skirt has a zipper up front, which always makes it easier to get into a tight and short skirt. I love the contrast of the big and heavy plaid shirt, going with a sexy little skirt made of fine leather. I tucked the top into the bottom piece in order to have both fashion pieces stand out in a way.

This hot little leather skirt you can also wear with a silk blouse for example, if you like to create a cute look. Or try it out in summer with a t-shirt and sneakers for a casual style. For my funky outfit I chose my open toe ankle boots in silver from Guiseppe Zanotti. The shiny shoes add a little edgy touch to it and with their heels they stretch the leg even more.

My oversized MCM Stark Pouch in lambskin carries the large monogram of the label around it. The big size is something different, just like the material for a handbag. It feels great in your hands and it is a real eye-catcher when carrying it. And of course I can fit it a lot of things inside when I am going out. A lady always needs a lot of stuff on her when leaving the house. My Diormania sunglasses from Dior finish of the cool look and all in all it has a little bit something of a rock star wear.

The plaid shirt is a piece I don’t want to miss out on, it is easy to wear and looks good – why don’t you try your favorite style with one?
