The company has a long tradition, starting in 1904 in New York and establishing as a strong German fashion brand in 1965 in Munich. The brand always finds the gap between tradition and innovation and that reflects in their beautiful leather goods.
This season’s stunning collection is called #AIGNERLOVE and it’s all about the most important thing we share in life – love! The story is focused on the love to the brand, the product and the philosophy of AIGNER. The collection is sensual and ecstatic but at the same time it is sweet and tough as well. A great style mix, celebrating the passion for art and crafts – dominating in the colors of candy pink and AIGNERs typo print in black & white. The designs meet every mood and style, offering plenty of space for your individual mood. Try it simple and classy or carry an eye-catcher with cute lip patches and bright logo prints and colors. You can’t resist falling in love – there is so much of it in the air.
In order to admire the new collection I was invited to the great store in Düsseldorf on the 7th of May where the lovely team presented the latest spring/summer styles so nicely. The shop is classy and stylish – just like the brand itself and I am happy we have them in my hometown.
I immediately fell for the Candice Bag – the lollipop design convinced me, it has such a positive vibe that is all about happiness, summer and love. The fun colors simply make me happy and you all know my passion for bright colors. This it-bag is a perfect new accessory that can light up so many of my outfits.
What I also love is how multifunctional it is – you can wear it with an elegant evening outfit or with a fresh spring look. The bag can also be worn as a crossover with its extra shoulder strap and the most amazing goodies are the extraordinary selection of shoulder straps. I immediately fell in love with the pink one – a strap with glittering rhinestones on a pink patch creating AIGNER’s seasonal motto LOVE on individual leather letters – one-of-a-kind! It was love at first sight.
Thursday evening I was invited to the reopening of the AIGNER shop in Bonn. It had experienced a complete and beautiful makeover, shining full of light and great design. The space is located in the middle of the shopping street in Bonn am Markt, you cannot miss it. The Aigner Team hosted a wonderful event, presenting the latest SS18 collection in a classy and glamorous atmosphere. But that wasn’t all – the highlight of the evening was the presentation of the wonderful upcoming fall/winter 18 collection, that was shown on the second floor. The invited guests – made up of clients and friends of the brand, had the amazing opportunity to pre order their favorite pieces. All in all it was a fantastic evening with good music and great people. I love the new design of the shop and the upcoming collection is – as always – stunning and beautiful.
