A color flash can strike me anytime – I am such a fan of colors and they always bring out the sunny and fun side of life. Clean looks are also beautiful – but that is not the topic in this flashy story. It is great to start a color flash with different bright tones but you could also go for a look in one strong color, if you prefer doing that. However, you will have all eyes and attention on you and you can always observe the positive reactions when hitting off a style in this trend. Especially when the days are grey or if you don’t feel super awake one day – slip into something really colorful and see what that will do to you.

For this color flash I chose this stunning long red Givenchy coat. I love the loose and wide cut, it covers you entirely and it has this casual cool touch, even though being very elegant. It goes wonderfully over a dress or skirt combination like I am wearing, or style it with a cool denim look – it will always look amazing. Red is such a strong and beautiful color. It stands for love and reminds of a wonderful sunset on a clear evening by the ocean. Or it can make you think of a romantic evening sitting by the fireplace, watching the flames. The tone looks wonderful in fashion pieces, just like in this very elegant coat I am wearing. It also looks hot on your lips, I love putting some bright lipstick on – it changes the outfit and style – it is fancy and a bit sexy. So, you get it all!

For more color flash I slipped into this purple plisse skirt from Balenciaga. Pleated skirts fall so nicely around the legs and swing with every step you take. I always feel very feminine and like the free feeling. The purple is also very strong and goes great with red. Underneath I styled a black Off-white swimsuit – it is good to wear something tight with the wide cut coat and skirt – then the look doesn’t get to bulky. My sandals are the pointed sandals in black by Gianvito Rossi – they are so elegantly tied around the ankle and foot – a perfect partner in crime for many looks. To finish of the color flash, I am carrying the printed velvet clutch from Balenciaga BB. I love how the different tones run into each other in the bag, so much fun in one piece. My sunglasses are the Shadow model from Céline, also held in a feminine design. This look is completely from the amazing store Breuninger from my hometown Düsseldorf. They have all these lovely brands and wonderful styles in one place. I love visiting the place when in town, you can find anything you are looking for – from fashion to accessories and all beauty products.

This color flash was so much fun, you have to try it for yourself and feel the positive vibes – I felt them and I can’t wait to show you more, so stay tuned!
