The St. Regis Abu Dhabi was my second amazing stop, during this perfect adventure the travel company One Luxury took me on this March. After a week at the Maldives enjoying the absolute loneliness on a hidden beautiful island, I arrived in this stunning Urban Resort in Abu Dhabi.
A great contrast to the island life, coming back to the capital of the United Arab Emirates. And this city is the second most populous one, so it was a great change of atmosphere and vibes.
The flight and transfer worked out perfectly, sending my warm thanks and regards to Orient Tours Dubai, who took care of every step in a professional manner, together with One Luxury. The company is specialized on creating tour programs, desert safari trips, overland tours, sea safaris, relaxing dinner-cruises – just to name of few of their amazing and luxurious programs around Dubai, United Arab Emirates and the Sultanate of Oman.
After the calm transfer to the Hotel I felt so warmly welcomed in this amazing place, the St. Regis Abu Dhabi. It is situated right by the waterfront promenade giving you a beach and holiday feeling, even though being situated in such a big and pulsing city.
I am a big fan of interior design and the arrangement of places and the futuristic design hit my eyes the second I entered the lobby. Precious marble, arranged with impressive chandeliers – it all reminded me of a fairy tale of 1001 nights in a way. The suite I stayed in was super exquisite, comfort on all areas and the most stunning view over the water. And I was so spoilt by my personal butler (he even helped to unpack my suitcase when I arrived in the middle of the night 😉 and the lovely team around the place.
The service and the glamour in the St. Regis Abu Dhabi did make me feel a bit like a princess. And don’t we all want to have our special princess moments in life? And the best time is during a holiday, the time when you really want to relax and enjoy a little pampering from others for a change. Of course, I wanted to try out everything the hotel had to offer and that was a little mission – but great fun and gave me so many culinary and inspirational insights into the country. The different restaurants all offered food for every taste, regional and international cuisine and all of a great quality.
One Luxury is specialized on creating your personal dream holiday. When talking to them for the first time, discussing my dream trip, I knew I was in best hands. The proposals matched my ideas and so they had my adventure worked out in no time. And what I loved so much about this special trip, were the two completely different types of destinations. Each offering their virtues on a high-class standard. Just like the services from Orient Tours Dubai, who took me on unforgettable tours around the area. To get an impression of the capital, we enjoyed a city tour in style, where we were shown all the highlights of Abu Dhabi.
Of course, we couldn’t miss on visiting the largest mosque of the United Arab Emirates, the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, located in Abu Dhabi and being a very important place for daily prayers. The atmosphere was magical and so holy and special – I really felt respect for this holy place in this stunning architecture.
Another goodie was the visit of the Formula 1 Race Track, a great feeling to see the place where all the famous racers celebrate their victories. Thanks Orient Tours Dubai for letting me experience all these special places in such a special manner.
The St. Regis Abu Dhabi enjoys authentic Arabian hospitality, belonging to the St. Regis family with a tradition for more than a hundred years now. This feeling is transferred in every detail of the place and in the lovely hospitality of the people working here.
