The Culotte pants are a trousers trend that has a long history in fashion – and it has a beautiful comeback in the scene over and over again. Of course they do, they have this flattering, loose cut that fit the spring and summer mood just as well as the fall and winter time. Culottes are easily mistaken with a skirt but the chic pants are trousers, no doubt about that fact. They are super practical since they work for all kinds of shapes and you can wear them for any occasion, all year long – it is all just about the styling around them.

The Culotte is a real allrounder, a practical and cool thing to have in your wardrobe!

And did you actually know that the Culotte was the Knickerbocker trouser for men in the Renaissance? It took a while but with time the pants were accepted and newly defined for us ladies. Thanks to that, because it allows us to have another option when choosing to wear trousers.

The Culotte pants you can see me wearing here are from Gucci, with their famous monogram pattern. The high waist cut and the wide leg need a tight top, so I chose this cool sparkling swimsuit in white from Gucci, reading in big letters on the front in the logo print. I can always repeat how much fun it is to mix up different styles and this swimsuit and the trendy pants go together perfectly – also if you wouldn’t have thought of this combination before. The brand is so timeless yet so innovative and keeps up with the modern days. The balance is wonderful and I always find lovely styles with them.

Therefore, I dug out my vintage leather Trench coat form Gucci as well – it´s a classic and so diverse. I love to wear it casually with jeans for example or with a fancy style.

The short leg of the Culotte pants need high heels or booties – just in order to stretch your leg and to let the trousers look at their best. My wonderful So Kate Christian Louboutin heels in cognac have the perfect stylish note and tone, that match the Gucci look.

Just like the brown and black Gucci backpack with the monogram print – a cute little Gucci story I am showing you here. This little practical bag is great in combination with the pants but also works amazing with casual jeans or leather pants. Backpacks are just so handy and you can choose how to carry it at any time, either on the back or in your hand – it all looks stylish!

For a last touch I put on my Gucci retro sunglasses, just to round up the beautiful brand story.
