The casual chic look is one of my all-time favorites. From my point of view, it fits to every occasion. Brunch with your favorite ladies, dinner date with your partner, business lunch – no matter the happening and location you can’t go wrong with this style.
For my casual chic look I love to combine pieces from different brands and am always looking for inspiration on how to make this look a little unique to give it my own handwriting. As most of you surely know I am addicted to very high heels and I think throughout the years it became clear that they are my signature piece when I put together a casual chic look as they simply turn every casual outfit into a powerful statement.
The pieces I combined for the casual chic look I want to show you today I found on NET-A-PORTER. The world’s premier luxury fashion destination who’s celebrating their 20th anniversary this year has the great mission of delivering incredible fashion for incredible women and from my point of view they’re doing an outstanding job and deliver to their mission to the fullest. What I think is really unique is the variety of brands and products NET-A-PORTER is offering. As I love to combine different brands in my looks they are simply a great source of inspiration and destination to find all the right pieces in one place.
The center piece of my casual chic look is a pair of high waist jeans Devon by GRLFRND. I really like the rather loose fit in combination with the high waist which make a perfect match to my Victoria, Victoria Beckham tanktop in beige. I follow the credo that a loose pair of pants should best be matched with a close-fitting top so you visually support your waistline.
As it can still be a little breezy in early Summer I added a double breasted blazer in blue by Low Classic to the look. On top of keeping me warm when needed it is a piece that emphasizes the chic part of the casual chic look by nature.
As already announced heels are a very important part of this look so I topped it off with some lovey camel colored ones matching the color of my tanktop. In terms of accessories I chose a color matching camel Pouch mini clutch by Bottega Veneta and as it’s early Summer didn’t miss out on the sunglasses which are Dylan cat-eye sunglasses from Saint Laurent in black with silver.
I hope you enjoy this casual chic look powered by NET-A-PORTER and feel inspired to try your very own variation of this all-time classic.
xx Alex
