Mallorca was my summer vacation 1st choice this year and I spent some lovely time there with my family and also met a few friends who were on the island at the same time. It was so relaxing and exciting at the same time and now that I am back I want to share some Mallorca Suitcase Must Haves with you that I think should not be missed when travelling the island. And of course, these pieces suit any other summer vacation spot as well so not limited to the island of Mallorca!
When going on summer vacation the one thing that comes to my mind right away is airy and light clothing. Therefore, I based many of my Mallorca looks on airy dresses, shorts and of course bikinis and bathing suits as well as headdresses.
Shorts are always lovely item to wear when your on summer vacation as they are both chic and super convenient. Whether you’re going for dinner, hang out at the pool and take a walk through one of Mallorca’s picturesque little towns – a pair of shorts is always a good companion. They can be styled up and styled down matching each occasion simply perfect. When combining shorts with a classic blouse they become rather chic and whilst with a top or an airy shirt they are rather casual and fit any laid back occasion.
One of my latest Mallorca Suitcase Must Haves are capes! I simply love them and think they are great for a day at the beach, the pool or even a boat trip to one of the many beautiful bays of Mallorca. A bikini or bathing suit is lovely for sunbathing and swimming but when you go for a coffee or light lunch during the day you’d probably want to cover up which is easily done with a cape – that’s why they are also referred to as cover-ups! 😉 What is an absolute necessity when it comes to Mallorca Suitcase Must Haves as well are headdresses and sunglasses… I love to experiment with both hats and headbands in the sunny weather to protect from myself sunrays and of course also for the fashion sake of it. And I wear them at any occasion and to almost any look!
When talking Mallorca Suitcase Must Haves bikinis and bathing suits are absolutely unnegotiable. I am really fond of bathing suits with cut-outs these days and can only recommend to you to try this trend as they are really really flattering. And of course I also do not shy back from bikinis in any form and shape and am a real fan of the newly high-waste style of bikini bottoms.
For an evening night out with friends during your summer holidays I always recommend a classic slip dress. It’s a guarantee for a summery yet chic look and you can’t go wrong when wearing one from my point of view. They come in many variations these days and whether you’d like to go for one with a waterfall neckline or with a nice back detail they are a great piece of clothing to support your body’s features best possible.
I hope you enjoyed my Mallorca Suitcase Must Haves and feel inspired to update your vacation wardrobe a little here and there!
Wishing you a lovely vacation season!
