The Grand-Hôtel du Cap-Ferrat, a Four Seasons Hotel, turned into my home away from home when travelling to the Côte d’Azur and I was very happy to be able return to this outstanding place this May. As for my previous visit I enjoyed my time at this marvelous hotel so much andespecially the fact that I was able to finally wear some of my latest summer looks!

The Grand-Hôtel du Cap-Ferrat embodies the classic glamour and timeless chic of the French Riviera like no other and is Côte d’Azur’s most legendary palace hotel. Since it was opened in 1908 it is a French icon like no other. I still remember how I fell in love with this place right upon my 1^st arrival and it turned into a place of longing for me – the perfect combination of French chic and savoir vivre.

As these holidays seemed like the 1^st since forever I curated a selection of looks I knew I’d really enjoy wearing, picking up latest trends and matching several occasions from casual to beach to dressy. Let’s dive into these and see whether you can pick some inspiration for your hopefully soon to come vacation.

During the day at the Grand-Hôtel du Cap-Ferrat, I really enjoyed wearing dresses in calf- or full-length with either a bodycon or a-line shape. As we spent a lot of time exploring the area and strolling the picturesque streets of Côte d’Azur’s beautiful towns I mostly completed my looks with flat sandals. Topping my daytime looks off with summery straw hats I definitely found my perfect match for days spent in Cannes, Saint-Tropez and Cap-Ferrat hiding behind shades whenever the sun hit too hard. In terms of colors I went from subtle to bold and simply dressed according to my mood and the vacation spirit I was embracing to the fullest.

The rooms and suites at the Grand-Hôtel du Cap-Ferrat are simply stunning and spread French joie de vivre in its most genuine form. This time, we had the honor to spend a day at the Four Seasons POOL SUITE where the sparkling waters of our private infinity pool merged with the blue of the nearby Mediterranean Sea. We enjoyed the indoor-outdoor living to the fullest! Spending time on the terrace with views of the Mediterranean Sea, dipping in the pool and taking a little nap in the afternoon in our spacious bedroom was pure joy.

This being said, I of course spent a lot of time in beachwear… I loved wearing one-piece bathing suits, combined these with either summer hats, headscarves and visor-caps and shades of all kinds. I also made use of pareos and kimonos for the perfect beach bar and pool terrace looks at the Grand-Hôtel du Cap-Ferrat.

I am huge fan of French cuisine and love to indulge in as many culinary highlights as possible whenever I spend time in France. The Grand-Hôtel du Cap-Ferrat and its surrounding offer many ways to indulge in culinary experiences. The LE BAR at the Grand-Hôtel du Cap-Ferrat offers the best of Asian and South American cuisines with their IZAKAIA menu and its LA VÉRANDA restaurant offers a delicious menu reminiscent of a chic French Riviera bistro. The view of the LA VÉRANDA is simply as unique as the restaurant itself and please don’t get me started on the menu which offered everything my inner foodie could wish for! For my evening looks I stayed true to my love for high-heels and combined these with short evening dresses mostly in a bodycon shape in bold, happy and joyful colors. I somehow felt that after such a long winter I had to celebrate the sun and its feeling on my skin and embraced this feeling of freedom to the fullest in these looks.
