I am so excited to finally share the newest chapter of my collaboration with Seidensticker:
Alexandra Lapp x Seidensticker Capsule 26.2.
With every collection we have developed our shared design language a little further, while always staying true to what has been important to me from the very beginning: timeless pieces, beautiful materials and silhouettes that can be styled in many different ways.
This time, however, I wanted to introduce something new. The collection feels a little more dressed-up, a little more sophisticated and perhaps also a little more grown-up. Tuxedo-inspired tailoring becomes one of the defining elements of the capsule, creating a beautiful contrast between structure and softness.
And I absolutely love the result.

A New Take on Tailoring
For me, tailoring should never feel stiff or overly formal.
I love the confidence of a beautifully cut suit, but I also want clothes to feel effortless when I wear them. That balance became one of the main ideas behind this collection.
The new tailored pieces are crafted from a structured wool blend and include a tuxedo with elegant satin lapel, beautifully cut trousers and a slim pencil skirt. They take inspiration from classic tuxedo dressing but translate it into a modern feminine wardrobe.
The silhouettes are clean and precise, yet they never feel severe.
That was especially important to me: I wanted the collection to have structure without losing its sense of ease.
The result is tailoring that can take you from day to evening simply by changing the styling.

Black, Ecru and the Power of Simplicity
You know how much I love a reduced colour palette.
For Capsule 26.2, we focused on warm ecru, elegant black and light-washed denim. Together, these shades create a wardrobe that feels calm and sophisticated while offering endless styling possibilities.
Black brings strength and elegance, while ecru softens the collection and gives it a beautiful lightness. The denim adds a more relaxed element and prevents the looks from ever feeling too formal.
I particularly love monochrome dressing, and some of my favourite looks from this capsule are the head-to-toe ecru combinations.
There is something incredibly luxurious about wearing one colour from top to bottom, especially when different textures and materials are combined.

The Tuxedo Story
One of the highlights of the collection for me is the tuxedo-inspired story.
A satin lapel immediately changes the character of a blazer. It gives a classic tailored piece that subtle evening feeling without making it something you can only wear for a special occasion.
That versatility is exactly what I wanted.
I can imagine wearing the blazer with the matching trousers and heels for dinner, with the pencil skirt for a more feminine interpretation or simply with the wide-leg jeans for a completely different and much more casual look.
For me, these are the pieces that really earn their place in a wardrobe: pieces that never dictate one particular look.
You decide how elegant or relaxed you want them to be.

Softness Meets Structure
To balance the sharper tailoring, we introduced softer pieces and fabrics throughout the capsule.
The tie-neck blouses add movement and femininity, while the cropped wool-blend turtleneck has exactly the effortless feel I love. Styled with the light-wash wide-leg jeans, it becomes one of those looks that feels incredibly simple and yet very polished.
There is also a beautiful blouse crafted from a soft cupro-viscose fabric with an elegant bow detail at the neckline.
I have always loved this contrast: something structured paired with something fluid, masculine elements mixed with feminine ones, a strong blazer softened by a beautiful blouse.
Fashion becomes much more interesting when opposites meet.

A New Love: Taffeta
Another important element of this capsule is taffeta.
We created two dresses that bring a completely different feeling to the collection: a clean shirt dress and a beautiful polka-dot style with more volume and a waist-defining belt.
I love how taffeta holds its shape. It creates volume without needing complicated details, which gives these dresses a certain drama while still keeping them very elegant.
The polka dots also introduce a subtle graphic element to the otherwise very reduced collection.
They feel playful but still sophisticated – exactly the kind of contrast I love.

From Everyday to Evening
Perhaps the biggest evolution of this collection is that it goes beyond everyday dressing.
Of course, versatility remains incredibly important to me. I want every piece we create to work with things you already own and to become part of your wardrobe rather than something you wear only once.
But Capsule 26.2 also introduces pieces for those moments when you want to dress up a little more.
A dinner, an event, a celebration – or simply one of those days when you feel like wearing something special.
Because for me, elegance should never depend on the occasion.
Sometimes the most beautiful thing is wearing a tuxedo -inspired blazer with jeans in the middle of the day.

The Alexandra Lapp x Seidensticker Woman
When I think about the woman I design for, I never think about a certain age.
I think about an attitude.
She loves fashion but doesn’t need to follow every trend. She appreciates quality and beautiful fabrics. She enjoys dressing up, but she also wants her clothes to feel natural and effortless.
Most importantly, she knows her own style.
That idea has been at the heart of my collaboration with Seidensticker from the very beginning, and I feel that Capsule 26.2 expresses it perhaps more clearly than ever.
The collection combines strength and softness, simplicity and detail, day and evening – without ever feeling overdone.
And that is exactly how I love to dress.
I cannot wait to see how you style the new pieces and which ones will become your favourites.
Alexandra Lapp x Seidensticker Capsule 26.2 will be available online at Seidensticker and selected retailers from October 29, 2026.
Loves Alex
