The Seventies Style is a sincere friend, a trend that always returns to the fashion world or actually never really leaves it. I love it because it is a happy style, with lots of flowers and colors. I always feel the energy of those days whenslipping into a seventies outfit, somehow you feel easier and relaxed. You can see lots of the flower power influence around the fashion scene right now and it will be with us throughout the summer. There are long beautiful flower dresses, bell-bottom pants and crazy floral designs.

I found this beautiful outfit from Talbot & Runhof – the design duo Johnny Talbot and Adrian Runhof are an amazing team when creating stunning collections with a wonderful love for the details. The materials are of highest quality and the looks are very ladylike and elegant. The designers create dresses and gowns that will let every woman look at her best for any occasion.
Or these stylish silk jacquard pants and long gown in the Seventies Style. The wide leg of the pants falls straight down to the ground, letting your legs look much longer than they are. A bright ocean blue dominates the look and it is decorated with colorful big flowers. The long gown is in the same design, going down to the ground as well and embracing the whole look. You can close the top and only have the bottom of the legs looking out, then you have more of a dress. But I like to leave it open with a simple top underneath, to create a kind of a suit, just in a very trendy style.
The two strong pieces can also be worn by themselves, I see the gown with a cool casual pair of bell-bottom jeans in an edgy style. Or the pants only with a white short t-shirt and flats, there are plenty of lovely styling opportunities for the Seventies Style. The top I am wearing is a white silk top from Jadicted that fits perfectly to the look and it doesn’t take away the attention of the powerful flower power style.

The handbag you can see me carrying is a blue Milla tote bag from MCM. I love the leather manufacturer, always creating handbags for every style I can think of. The quality is amazing and the designs are always up to date and they offer classic pieces up to modern high fashion ones.

My shoes are the Pigalle Follies pumps by Christian Louboutin with hand-scribbled drawings of the big designer himself in happy colors.

A flower power look of course needs round hippie style sunglasses and the blue round pair from Mykita is a perfect match.

All in all the Seventies Style is complete and as I said before it spreads a happy and fun vibe around me – try it out and get that flower power look!
