The cold season calls for a resumé on my 2022 winter highlights and I can’t wait to share my hot list for amazing winter looks with you!

One of my biggest winter highlights are of course chunky knit pieces. May it be as a sweater with crew or v neckline, a cardigan or a turtle neck chunky knit pieces are my winter wardrobe essential number one. And as versatile as chunky knit pieces are so are the styling options that they offer! This winter, I love to style them with either wide leg or skinny pants as I feel that both styles look simply great. Combine your chunky knit piece with sneakers and wide leg pants and you’ll have the perfect casual look whilst combined with skinny pants and boots they make a super chic winter highlights look. I enjoy wearing chunky knit pieces in both muted and bold colors and even go for a monochrome look every now and then.

Of course, my winter highlights also include outdoor pieces and this winter season I have two items on my hot list that I can’t go without. The 1^st one is the classic coat in all shapes and colors as well as materials. Wool and cashmere, I enjoy just as much as teddy and faux fur. This season’s trend of very long coats I appreciate a lot as well and really think it’s a trend that any woman can wear as it shapes a beautiful silhouette and is super elegant.

The 2^nd item on my winter highlights hot list when it comes to outdoor pieces is the cape. Some days it might still be too warm to wear a coat and that’s when the cape comes in handy. It’s a piece that can be combined in a casual and chic way and therefore it is not surprising that it’s an evergreen that celebrates its comeback over and over again.

The question whether light colors in winter outerwear are a toss or take I’d clearly answer with ‘By all means, take!’. Dependent on the weather of course… 😉 On a sunny winter day there is no more striking and elegant look than one featured by a beautiful light-colored outerwear piece I reckon.

Let’s now dive into some insights regarding what kind of accessories my hot list contains. In winter 2022, I love to wear statement earrings in combination with bold brooches. I really enjoy wearing statement earrings and appreciate how they can make a look unique and striking. Lately, I especially love to pimp up my outerwear pieces with a big brooch. Same as for the statement earrings it makes a look unique and somehow feels like a little customization to me.

Of course, my winter highlights hot list wouldn’t be complete without a matching make-up recommendation. This winter season I love to accentuate my eyes with eyeshadow in warm browns and beiges topped off with golden highlights. I apply a thorough amount of mascara to my lashes and accentuate the waterline with a kohl pencil. For my lips a choose a subtle tone supporting my natural lip color and contour my cheeks slightly. This to me, is the perfect winter make-up matching my winter highlights looks both casual and chic.
