My Biker Couture outfit in all black is a combination of rocking and elegant elements and perfect for a fashionable occasion like the Fashion Week in Paris. I converted an evening gown into a cool street style look with my Biker plus Couture styling.
The Biker components of the look are the boots and the leather jacket. My heavy Gucci shoes are vintage. You won’t see me often on flat shoes, but those kind of boots are extremely comfortable and very cool. Also, there is the classic black Biker leather jacket Perfecto by Schott NYC with silver buttons and zipper. It looks rocking and stylish! The fabric is super soft and it has a nice fit – the most relevant criteria for me when getting a leather piece. I especially like draping a jacket like that casually over the shoulders. When wearing this jacket properly, I also like to roll up my sleeves easily – and with the slim fit it is even possible to fit a sweater underneath!
The Couture part of my outfit is in the first place the stunning Patrizia Pepe gown. And it goes very well with the biker look! The dress itself is elegant, fashionable and flirty due to the transparent fabric at the bottom. The detailing is special, as the piece of clothing is studded with little black butterflies. Those appliqués are sewed on in a 3D effect all over the dress! And I really love how it “moves” when walking. It is amazing how diverse a gown can be as you can create a completely different style with the right combination of clothes.
With my Chanel hat and the clutch by Louis Vuitton I included some French fashion classics for my Parisian look. This is always a good idea!
With a mix of elegant and rocking pieces you can create a very unique and chic look. These days every breach of styles is allowed; you are even permitted to wear your nightshirt during the day with a T-shirt underneath! You can interpret the same piece of clothing in so many different ways – like styling a gown casually for a daily occasion.
