During my visit of the SIHH – The Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie – 2017 in Geneva I was happy to be part of the introduction of the new Da Vinci collection, created by IWC Schaffhausen. The collection is a remake of the Iconic Da Vinci watch from the 80’s. IWC is one of the leading luxury brands in the watch industry enjoying an international reputation. They are known for their timeless and luxurious watches always creating innovative and exclusive designs. I am a big fan, not only for their stunning designs but also for the ecological and social responsibility the company follows.

For this occasion IWC invited a big and fun group, made up of all kind of different people representing the brand. Stars like Rosamunde Pike, Vanessa Redgrave, James Marsden, Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton – just to name a couple of the high profile visitors, FOB’s and brand ambassadors. We all had a great time together. During the day we paid a visit to the companies booth at the fair to check out the collection. The booth was set up like an Italian palazzo, a perfect sight to present the wonderful pieces. I had a great chance to meet a lot of the interesting guests and to chat with them while admiring the beautiful watches. I was happy to catch up with a couple of colleagues from the fashion business as well.

One of the brands highlights was the introduction of the companies new CEO, Christoph Grainger-Herr. He is taking over from Georges Kern, who was honored during the evening Gala for his amazing 15-year career at the Swiss company and who is now moving on to a management position in the parent company in Richemont.

After this exciting day visiting the company’s booth I quickly changed into my red evening gown by Roland Mouret to attend the Gala evening. It was sensational. The guests gathered together to honor the IWC Da Vinci during the SIHH 2017 under the motto: DECODING THE BEAUTY OF TIME. Everyone was dressed up and partying in a high class and nicely mixed crowd. The evening was filled with spectacular highlights, such as 360-degree dining experience and a holographic show – I had an amazing night and great conversations with most interesting people.

This event was a perfect finish to a great week I spent in Florence for IWC with a wonderful group of other FOB’S, like Karolina Kurkova, Kristina Bazan, Kanika Kapoor, Lana El Sahaly, Nicole Warne and Xenia.

I am looking forward to these years following amazing events with IWC and to the next SIHH.
