If you are into fashion like I am, you will certainly not have missed the hype around the Parisian label Vetements. The young label is featured in the press numerously and worn by stars all over the place. And it is available in many big and famous fashion stores worldwide. The head designer Demna Gvasalia creates fashion that people really want to wear, he makes “clothes” like the French word for it “Vetements” says! His idea is to recreate simple pieces, adding little details or changing the style of it. Like for example taking apart a pair of Vintage jeans and putting it all together again – all handmade. There is a lot of creativity and hard work in every piece. And the result you can see in my outfit I am showing to you.
I am wearing an oversized navy and white striped cotton shirt by Vetements, cut for an oversized fit with a point collar and dropped shoulders. The idea of turning a business shirt into a casual women’s top is amazing and the oversized style is really comfortable.
With it I am wearing blue jeans from Vetements in cooperation with Levi’s. They have a high waist and cut-out raw hems, another great casual piece in a cool new style. The pieces of Vestments and also the accessories like shoes, bag and sunglasses are from APROPOS The Concept Store, a shop that always is ready for the latest trends. The pumps are from Christian Louboutin in cognac, a color that really goes well with navy blue in my opinion. Just like the studded embellished crossbody bag from Fendi. The adjusted studs bring a little color into the outfit and the symmetric pattern of them is a great contrast to the asymmetric shirt and jeans. The blue aviator sunglasses from Illevesta go perfectly with the blue look.
I am a big fan of the label Vetements and its individual style and it was great fun wearing it in my way!
